I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for your kind comments.  I also want to thank those of you that are now followers.  I have gone to those people who have left their blogs and became followers of your blog as well. 

It was really fun blog hop that I did and the people I was with were great.  I wish I would have been feeling better so I could have done more but perhaps on the next blog hop I will.  I am so excited to enter some more blog hops and hope that you will continue to follow me on them.

I will be posting some new pictures soon on my site hopefully before my vacation of an upcoming class that is coming.

We are doing this Blog Hop to promote Breast Cancer Awareness, and remind all of you to do your self-exams! I decided to create something that has been on my to do list for awhile. I created a Memory Keeper box from Close To My Heart. I covered the box with a paper packet (also from CTMH) that was pink with some other colors in it as well. The paper packet is called Life Delights which is an inspiring name, I think. It had butterflies on it that I liked. I stamped additional butterflies using three different butterfly stamp sets; the first Celebrate Life, the second Embrace Life, and the third Spring Possibilities (all three by CTMH) I then cut them out added glitter to them, pink glitter to the two smaller ones and white glitter to the big one. Then I placed the two smaller ones over the butterflies that were on the paper using foam dots to add dimension to the project. I printed the sayings using my computer and glued them on. I also applied rhinestones all over the cover on the swirls. You can open the box and store your keepsakes in it. I plan on storing cards that I have received over the years from loved ones in it.

I AM BACK

Hello everyone -

Sorry was gone for a while if you have noticed I have posted a information about an upcoming 50 Holiday Card Class I am offerring.  Well I had to step away from the computer for about a week and 3 days to get all the paper cut for this upcoming event.  I put 30 kits together.  Just for the card bases I had to cut 750 pieces of paper.  It is relaxing to me most of the time.  I am going to shut out a huge THANK YOU to my husband who counted all the papers and put them into their kits.  He is such a great guy.

Well I am back and I have exciting news about an upcoming event so stayed tuned.  I have entered my first blog hop and it will start on the 9th and run the 11th.  I am so very excited.
