Upcoming September Class

September Class
14 Cards from one Random Stamped Paper
Back by popular demand, we will be random stamping a 12X12 paper that you later will be using to create 14 cards. With the cost of this class you will receive the stamp set we will be using this day to make the cards. That way you can enjoy making more cards at home. You will leave this class with 14 cards, envelopes, and a stamp set. Please bring to class a scissors, and adhesive(tape runner). If you have the following tools you may want to bring them they are not necessary though a paper trimmer, a piercing tool, and an eyelet kit.

This class is offered September 17 and the 22nd in Howard Lake at the Middle School. You can register through the Community Education office of Howard Lake.

Where Did July Go!

WOW!! Where did the month of July go? I have been running running with Charese (my little girl) every where it seems. We started the month out by going to the Brainerd, MN 4th of July parade and then on to see the fire works. Brainerd puts on a wonderful fireworks display every year and this year was no different. One thing that was different this year was that I sat with my mom's digital camera (the battery was dead on mine) and took pictures of the fireworks over 100 pictures to be percise. My brother thought I was nuts. But out of 100 or so I did get some to turn out. It was really cool. Take a look at some.

Then we had Waverly Daze which was just great this year - a lot of fun. The Waverly Boosters (a committee I am on) sales ice cream cones every year and this year we sold out of Ice Cream. I think that might be a first.

Then it was off to Wisconsin, Iron River, with Charese's Girl Scout Troop for a camping trip. This was great. We had a blast. We got to ride horses and shoot archery and went canoeing. It was awesome.

Charese also had VBS and a 3 Day, Day Camp that she attended. Well all of this adds up to lots of pictures and lots of scrapbooking to do. So I need to organize my photos and start getting them done. I have decided that my goal starting August (never to let to start a goal) is to scrapbook current events and when have time work on the past photo albums. Also a goal is to finish a 2 page spread a day. We will see how it goes.

I am curious what did you all take pictures of this summer? Let me know.

Now it is time to start getting my classes ready, and get moving on things.
