Today my daughter and I took a day and made it a girl day. We sat in my office and scrapbooked all day (well a couple of breaks were taken). My daughter, Charese, is seven soon to be eight. She did pretty good. I just let her do her thing. She thought it was extremely funny that she finished 17 pages and mom only finished like 5 to 7 pages. She had to call Dad and brag to him that she finished more and also to my mom. I found it so sweet to spend a day with her just being creative in our own way and talking. Having this day at seven made me count my blessings and so look forward to many more with her as she gets older. I am almost positive that this is a bond we will have together forever and for that I thank God. I hope we will be able to share many moments and talks together over a day of scrapbooking and isn't that what scrapbooking is all about. Not just bring the memories to life in a book for all to see but the journey in which you bring those pages to life and who that journey is with. To all of you scrapbookers and stampers I hope that you have many wonderful times scrapbooking with your mother, daughter, friends whoever enjoy the journey and time spent together. I know I am.
